Thanks to Williams Advanced Engineering for hosting us at their facilities in Oxfordshire for a fascinating workshop and design review!

We spent two days discussing aerodynamics, composites, vehicle dynamics, program management and vehicle integration and instrumentation with their engineers and also had the opportunity to tour their design and manufacturing facilities and a collection of their previous Formula 1 cars.

Williams Advanced Engineering is the technology and engineering services business of the Williams Group. They provide consulting services in engineering and technology, operational performance, testing and manufacturing services, working in a range of sectors including automotive, motorsport, civil aerospace, defense, healthcare, sports science and energy. Since their focuses include aerodynamics and thermodynamics, high performance hybrid & EV systems, lightweight structures, specialist low-volume product delivery, dynamics, and operational performance consulting, there is a lot of overlap between their areas of expertise and our project.
