10 Sep Arriving in Adelaide
Author’s Note: Hi, I’m Maisam. I was born and raised in beautiful Tanzania. I work with the Electrical and Embedded Code team and I’ll be keeping you guys updated with my race log these next couple weeks. I write my blogs by dictating them to my google assistant; she’s British, so blame her for any spelling mistakes.
The last member of the race crew arrived this past week to join the rest of the team in beautiful Adelaide. Adelaide has been a real treat for the team coming off of a busy summer. It’s springtime in Australia, so the team has been greeted by some rains. This hasn’t stopped us from experiencing the city and being treated to all the delicious food.
The team plans to spend the next few days here relaxing and re-energizing in preparation for the arrival of our car. The Electrical and Code teams will spend some time shaking down the key systems using our car-on-a-bench setup and spend the weeks leading up to the race ensuring that all of the car’s systems are performing as expected.
We can’t wait to put some outback miles on the car and we eagerly await the vibrant few weeks until the race.
