01 Jan Wrapping up 2019: Thank You!

Happy New Year’s from SSCP!

As we look back on 2019 and forward to 2020, we wanted to send out a big thank-you to the sponsors who supported us through the last two years (and in some cases, for a large part of the last decade). Our team members learn so much from every part of this experience, from the initial design and review through the manufacturing, testing and eventually the in-situ driving, debugging and creative modding that happens while camping under the Outback stars. A project on this scale is a team effort, and our family of sponsors is part of our team every step of the way, offering design software, build materials and manufacturing services, support for transport & logistics, camping and outdoors equipment for our on-road testing trips, and financial support to help with the myriad expenses we need to cover to work towards a finished car.

Although 2019 did not bring the finish in the BWSC that we were hoping for, the experience of designing and building a solar car from scratch was nonetheless invaluable. Thank you to every organization, company, or individual who helped us live this experience. We have learned so much and are excited to see what 2020 brings.
